Banner Birthday.....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I know I did... I had a very busy week last week trying to get a whole bunch of
cards created for my Crop til ya drop.... I told you my goal was to get 16 sets
of 4 cards each done.... Well I didn't get 16 sets of 4 done... I did get 14 sets of
4 cards each done instead! I was really close to getting the 16 done but had a few
snags along the way and settled for the 14 sets! I got them all completed by about
4am... Which is about the same as last months crop.... After I finished them I went
to do some shopping for more paper.... It's not like I really needed the paper.. But
I LOVE PAPER! Sooo I picked up some of the New My Mind's Eye Line (Caroline)
It really is some pretty paper and I can't wait to create some cards with this line.....
It really was a lot of fun hanging out with my friends and chatting all night long!
I got home about 5:30am and I normally can't sleep right away after the crop so
I stayed up til about 7am doing some Internet shopping..... I know, I know....
I'm crazy! But one of my Friends (Elaine) has been creating her projects
with the really cool Velvet Paper by SEI.... and her cuts are soooo
cute with this paper.... so I decided I needed to get some of that paper....
I'm gonna cut out some really CUTE things with it once it gets here....
And I'll show ya what I'm talkin' about! This way you won't think I'm
toooo crazy for staying up and ordering it for my projects! LOL
Speaking of projects... Here's today's card for ya!

I LOVE using Banners in my projects! And I seem to
keep running back to the same cartridge over and over again!
The cartridge I'm talkin' about is the Art Philosophy Cartridge!
It really has AWESOME cuts to enhance anything you
make! Sooo if you don't have this cartridge... you really should
look into getting it... Remember I don't work for Provo Craft...
This is just my opinion! :o) Here's how simple I made this card:

Card stock (Green & Black), Stamp (Cupcake), Ink, Pens, Glitter - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Bubblegum Stripes Imagine Cartridge
Banner Cuts - Art Philosophy Cartridge (3/4" x 5")
Scallops - Lacy Labels Cartridge (2 1/2")
I used Yellow Stickles on the flame and
I used a little glitter on the cupcake frosting for a
little sugary sparkle! :o)

Well that's all I have for today! Thanks soooo much for stopping by!
I'll be back on Wednesday with my Cricut Cardz Challenge card!
Have an AWESOME DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Industrial Birthday.....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I can't believe we're
already in the middle of the week! The month is almost
over with... Where did the time go??? I'm trying to get ready
for my Monthly "Crop til ya Drop"! I can't believe it's here
sooo soon! I've been running around my craft room like a
crazy lady trying to come up with things to make and bring
with me to the crop.... Most people bring Scrapbooking supplies...
NOT ME! I bring cardmaking supplies... :o) Sooooo I've
been trying to create like a mad woman! Not Fun! :o)
I don't know if I'll have enough stuff to make while I'm
there... but I'm gonna try my best to bring at least
16 sets of (4) cards.... I try to make 4 of each card I make so
I can sell them at my store.... at this point I got 8 sets of 4 cards
cut out and ready to go.... 8 more sets in 2 days????
Not sure that's gonna happen.... I guess it'll give me more
time to talk! LOL Well.... here's one of the cards that I'll
be making Friday Night! :o)

I LOVE making Masculine cards! I have 3 boys and a Sweet Hubby....
4 Brothers and a lot of Uncles! Sooo making male cards is kind of
"My Thing"! Or it kind of has to be with all those Males in
my Family! tehehehe Any who.... I created this with my Imagine....
I recently got the Industrial Glow Art Cartridge and HAD to try
something with it! I got it bascially for the COOL "Guy Feel"
Papers it has.... :o) Here's the recipe:

Card stock Base, Ink, Round Punches - Stampin' Up
Yellow & Black Card stock (For the cuts) - Bo Bunny Double Dot
Stamp - My Creative Time
Cartridges - Industrial Glow Imagine Art (Designer Papers)
Dude - (Bike) Cut @ 3 3/4"

I really like the simplicity of this card and the colors make
me want to say "DUUUDE" a lot! LOL
Well.... That's all I have time for today... I still have a lot of
work to get done in a short period of time! Thanks soooo
much for stopping by and I hope all of you have
an AWESOME DAY!!!!

You've Got Mail.....

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope you're
all having a wonderful Valentine's Day already!
It's only Tuesday and I feel like the week is flying
by so fast! I'm running a 100 miles an hour right now
cuz I got a lot of things to get done this week! :o)
I know I don't normally post on a Tuesday BUT....
I had to show you guys something I made for my boys
for Valentine's Day! It's a 3D project and I just LOVE
how they turned out! So here ya go! :o)

I made the 3D Mailbox and a 3x3 matching card!
I wanted to make something for my boys and make it not
toooo girly! :o) I think I accomplished that! :o)
I used the CCR Program(Cricut Craft Room) And Downloaded
the 3D Mailboxes from Provo Craft!
3x3 Card - Card stock Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Pebbles Inc.
Cartridge - Everyday Pop Up (Heart Lock)
Cut @ 2 1/2"

Card stock - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Pebbles Inc.
Cartridges - Digital Download 3D Mailboxes From Provo Craft
(Mailbox) Cut @ 6"
Designer's Calendar (Be Mine Heart)
Cut @ 2 3/4"
I used Red Stickles to highlight the "Be Mine"

I used my White Signo Gel Pen just to add
a little extra somethin' somethin' to the hearts....

I didn't want the back to be plain so I added a 3 1/2"
square of Designer Paper to it....

I filled the inside up with Valentine's Candy so
that the 3x3 card could pop out of the Mailbox..... The box on the
inside really holds up well with the candy inside....
I made 2 of these in about 2 hours... After deciding on the
colors and paper choice.... :o) That's always the hardest part....
They were really easy to put together to my surprise!
Well That's my Valentine's Project for my Boys!
I hope you all have an AWESOME Valentine's Day!!!!

I Love You......

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all
had a wonderful weekend! Mine was busy.... Got some
crazy ideas swirling in my head for my additional craft
room... YES.... I said additional! LOL I have a nice size
room already but I've always wanted to knock down the wall
to make it bigger.... YES.... I have that much stuff! LOL
It's mostly due to my machines.... :O) Any who.... My friends
told me not to take down the wall in case I ever move... It's
another bedroom soooo I decided not to do that cause at the
time I was thinkin' of moving out of state! Then I got the store
and well.... I'm not moving anywhere now! Sooo I started thinking
about tearing down the wall again....  My friends told me not to
do it and their reasons why I shouldn't... Sooo I decided NOT to tear
down the wall (again), which also made my hubby happy! LOL But it's still
additional space for my crafting and I decided to turn it into a classroom/
scrap area for my friends!! I craft alone most of the time except for my
Crop til ya drop all niter that's once a month.... I do have a card
swap group too, which is also once a month... but that's pretty much
it! I like hanging with my friends and I don't think that should
only be once a month! Sooo I thought about having my hubby
make me a big table for us to craft on... I already had him add an 8ft
table that's attached to the wall for my machines... and I have all
my cartridges on a large book shelf in there too.... We already
did the flooring back in August... So that was done...
Soooo... this week we are working on the table! :o)
On with today's Valentine's card!

Another Creation while at work! :o) It's been on and off
busy/slow.... sooo I take the slow moments and create
a design in my Gypsy... I was thinkin' of taking one of my
machines with me to work.... but then that would involve me
taking papers and card stock and inks and well you know the drill!
So here's the specks on this card:

Card stock - Bo Bunny, Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Pebbles Inc.
Gems, Pink Pen, Ink - Stampin' Up
Stamp - Megan Elizabeth
White Signo Gel Pen
Cartridge - Gypsy Wanderings
(Heart & Scallop Heart) Cut @ 1 1/4"
CTMH Art Philosophy (Banner) Cut @ 2"

Well, that's all I have for today.... Thanks soooo much for stopping
by to say Hi!!! I hope everyone has a
Lovey Dovey Amazing
Valentine's Day Tomorrow!!!!!

Valentine's Day....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! It's the middle of
the week already! WOWZER! I have a super quick post for today!
I'm in the middle of making Valentine's for my son...
Sooo... here's my card.... :o)

Another Card using my Gypsy while at work! :o)

Card stock - Stampin' Up, Bo Bunny
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny
Ink - Stampin' Up
Stamp - Studio G
Embossing Folder - De'vine Swirls
Cartridges - Martha Stewart Occasions
(Border Hearts) Cut @ 1" ea.
CTMH Art Philosophy
(Label Shape) Cut @ 1 1/4"
Plantin SchoolBook
(Brown Heart) Cut @ 1 1/4"
The Rosette I made myself using my Gypsy and
The Paper Trimmings Cartridge with the Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge!
I welded together some rectangle shapes from Plantin,
then welded the first shape from the overlay on the Paper trimmings
cartridge.... Once I got them all welded together I cut a trial piece
to see if it had worked and it did! Soooo then I scored it and attached
the brown heart on the front and back side of my rosette.... And BAM
I made myself another rosette! I know I told you that I own the
Ribbons & Rosette cartridge.... but when I cut the first one that I wanted
from that cartridge, it turned out tooo big... soooo I thought I would try making
myself another one as I did with my wedding card! But this time I wanted
to add a scalloped look..... Thus creating my own with my Gypsy and weld
Feature.... If I knew how to download a Gypsy file for ya
I would totally give you guys this file to use if you'd like!
Sooo if someone out there could tell me how to do it
I would gladly post that for you... So you could have a small
rosette for yourself without using the ribbons & rosette cartridge!
Just remember you have to have the Plantin SchoolBook &
Paper Trimmings one in order for this to cut with your Gypsy!

Thanks soooo much for stopping by! I hope you
all have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Button Heart......

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone!!! I gotta tell ya some good news!
I did secure the other building for my Store! YEAHHH! I'm so excited!
We went down to Moab on Saturday to check out the thrift store they
have down there.... They actually have 2 locations, 1 for their clothes,
the other for all the other items they sell! Well they are also a much bigger
city than us so I can see why they have 2 different locations for all their stuff!
But I wanted to see the layout of the place and see what they're using to
hold/store the items they get in..... And all I can say is WOW! I got some
great ideas for my store! I mean some things I seen in their store
was exactly what I was thinkin' about, so it made me feel better
knowing they had that same idea... Since it was a "Business Trip"
we went to a nice restaurant and had a "Business Lunch" too! My son
was bored listening to me talk to my Hubby & Mom about changing
some prices and the layout of the new location... I told him he was getting
a nice lunch out of it but once he ate he really didn't care! LOL
It turned out to be a really nice day and I came home and started
shopping online for items to go into my new location... Since I'm
"stuck" where I'm at until June... I thought now would be a good time
to start ordering new clothing racks and shelves and such so when
it's time to move it'll be an easier transition for us! That's my plan
anyway... and since I'm pretty good at planning and organizing I think
things will work out great! I'm gonna start moving in on June 1st while
I'm still at the other location.... that should give me 30 days to get
both places in shape for another "Grand Opening"!
I guess I should talk about my project for today instead of talking
about my crazy business life! LOL Here's my Card! :o)

I created this while at the store... It's been a really slow week!
Here's how I made it:

Card stock - Stampin' Up, Bo Bunny, Georgia Pacific
Designer Paper - Pebbles Inc. (Loverly)
Ink - Stampin' Up
Sentiment - Word Program
Twine - My Craft Spot
Assorted Buttons - My Thrift Store :o)
Cartridge - Doodlecharms (Scallop Heart/Heart)
Cut @ 1.43 & 1.45 using my Gypsy

I putting this into the Challenges over at:
My Craft Spot - Valentine's
Fantabulous Cricut - Include a Heart on your project
Paper Playtime - Heart or Love Theme
My Sheri Crafts - At Least 2 Hearts on your project
Whimsical-Designs - Use something "OLD" on your project
(I used the Pebbles Inc. Designer Paper) I've had it for 3 yrs. and
never even thought about using it.... And the Cricut Doodlecharms
Cartridge... hardly ever take that out and use it either....
Well that's my sweet card for today! I'll be back
on Wednesday with another Valentine card!
I hope you all have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Today is Challenge day over at Cricut Cardz (aka Cardz TV)!
The Theme is "Be My Valentine" You are to create a card
for Valentine's Day using any cartridges or colors you'd like!
How super easy is that? It's a great fun challenge that
everyone can play along with! Here's the card that I created!

Can you tell the pattern I did this week with square boxes?
I don't know what I was thinkin' but it's kind of what I was
making with a couple of my cards, along with the banner...
I just LOVE the banner cut..... LOL
Any who.... here's the info on this card.....

Card stock, Button - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny (smitten)

Cut @ 1.33 each
Love Struck 2010 (Heart) Cut @ 3 1/4"
Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art (Be Mine)
Cut @ 1 3/4"

The paper is really pretty shimmer paper and I had to
take lots of photo's to get the right shot without
the shiny glow.... :o) Anyway.... I hope you like my card
and join in the fun over at Cricut Cardz (aka Cardz TV)
I look forward to seeing what everyone has created....
